HarshPandit: <explanation>
JulianFlake: to raise another question -- whether one is modelling a hierarhcy of classes or a taxonomy; is there a possibility for a mixed model where there are a hierarchy of classes but with a few instances? What we put in the spreadsheet is generated in RDF, but not rendered as expected in the HTML (need to recheck). This was fixed by using the taxonomy and then adding instances, but what we want is mostly classes and some instances

MuhsinHameed: academic writing, in previous meetings Art mentioned something about supply chain but we did not look into that. we are also looking at use case related to AI use transparency in documentation and compliance reports

HarshPandit: We did talk to them about DPV and modelling legal aspects, and there's an open issue about this
Beatriz: So should they be using DPV or should we have a mapping from our schema to their work? Not sure.
Harsh: Preference to not do any mapping at the moment as I don't know what is their roadmap for law/policy
Art: Their focus is on dataset metadata, which is used in libraries/frameworks, and the goal is reproducibility. They are active in NeurIPS community, so dataset that is submitted to the conference has to be provided in this format for example.

Beyza: DQV has Dimension concept which is then used to create e.g. Suitability
Harsh: but we want a specific IRI saying Suitability and DQV shows these as examples but they don't give an IRI for this https://
Beyza: Maybe something to ask Riccardo (editor of DQV)
Beatriz: I was going to suggest adding a mapping from DPV to DQV but if the concepts are not there then not sure what to do
Beyza: There are some mappings on the DQV page in Appendix C. Also Jeremy (Debatista) had IRIs for these concepts for his Luzzu work which could be useful here

Beatriz: This was an email on the mailing list for adding measures to the TOMs taxonomy regarding PETs. I'm following up on that, and we will have a meeting on that next week.

Sal: Commercial usecase related to biometrics. Company in Turkey called OnesTechnology based in Ankara; who work with biometrics and have stuff like smart cards and smart badges etc. which have biometrics. We are creating notices for these using DPV and IEEE 7012. Was looking at DPV's coverage of biometrics for these. Will share that shortly.
Beyza: What's the name of the company?
Sal: Ones based in Ankara. Also looking at GDPR, AI Act implications, and transparency work. RealSense from Intel, and then IDMachines which is our company. This is "frontware" which is in front of people.
