Ready-made patches, loaded into the Studio. Nothing is uploaded and nothing you
have saved is touched.
Alpha 10 Hz isochronic A 200 Hz tone pulsed ten times a second, with a soft attack and release on each pulse. The smallest complete patch the Studio makes.
Gamma 40 Hz isochronic The same shape at forty pulses a second, the rate most often used in gamma-band studies. Compare it with the alpha patch to hear what the pulse rate alone changes.
Binaural alpha beat 200 Hz in the left ear and 210 Hz in the right. The 10 Hz difference is heard as a beat that is not present in either channel on its own. Headphones required.
Theta breathing pacer A six second rise and fall, shaped by an LFO linked to a carrier’s level. Slow enough to breathe along with, and the clearest illustration of a control track driving an audio parameter.
Ocean and drone An ocean recording under a five voice drone at 110 Hz. Nothing pulses and nothing is modulated: an ambient bed, and a starting point to add your own tracks to.
Colour wash and tone A slow gradient beside a quiet 160 Hz carrier: one visual track and one audio track sharing the same transport, which is how every cross-modal patch is put together.
